As part of a wider programme of storytelling sessions being launched by Durham County Council, children can still enjoy popular stories and poems at home, I am thrilled to be able to share an audio story of my favourite tale. You can find the audio story on the DCC Youtube channel from Thursday 9th April 2020, at 2pm here.

To go along with the story, you can download the original songs from the show below, thanks to the wonderful Musical Direction of Calum Howard and the twittering tones of Liam Scarth from the original production.

Chicken Licken: a Tale Jam 2019

At a time when it feels as though the sky might actually be falling in, fables and folktales are brilliant ways to explore the complicated times of today. When truth is hard to come by in our own twittering farmyard, We ask where is the truth? And who is telling it? And what does Foxy Loxy have to do with it all?
